This weekend was super hot but thank goodness we had some friends visiting to distract us all weekend. Dan's friend Jeff from his hometown and his wife Heather came up for the weekend. We had such a good time with them and the kids had so much fun they didn't want them to leave. We took them out to Lake Michigan to the beach and just hung out around the house relaxing all weekend.
After they left on Sunday morning we went to Dan's annual work picnic. It was at a new location this year; a beautiful setting out in the country next to a spring fed creek that was super cold and refreshing. There was a blow up slide and games for the kids and really really good food. There were raffle prizes and prizes for the games. Dan and Jude won the water ballon toss and Therse won the popcorn race. It was a super fun day for everyone. We are truly blessed that Dan works for such a good company that treats us so well.
WOW! Blaze is growing to fast...he is SO unbelievably handsome!! I almost didn't recognize Jude with the long hair. And Patrick & Elijah look more alike each time I see them. Therese, you are beautiful as always!! I'm so happy you had a great week-end, I miss you all SO much!!! I love you...see you soon :-)
